New Aquascape Reveal!<\/p>
I chose to use Dragon Stone for this build to achieve a textured, earthy look. To enhance the \"nature style,\" I've attached epiphytes directly to the stone to make it appear as though they are growing naturally from the rockwork.<\/p>
My epiphyte of choice is Hygrophila pinnatifida; I love its unique leaf shape and the contrast between its dark red and green tones. I've also used Cryptocoryne undulatus 'Red' to fill out the background and crevices, aiming for a bushy, natural aesthetic. I may still add some Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia' around the base of the stones to finish it off. On the surface, I have Salvinia floating to provide shelter for the fish and to help absorb nitrates.<\/p>
Livestock<\/p>
This tank will be stocked with Lyretail Dalmatian Mollies that I breed myself! Joining them will be an orange and black Bristlenose Pleco and some shrimp. I am also considering adding Nerite snails and potentially a Siamese Algae Eater to complete the clean-up crew.<\/p>
Technical Specs<\/p>
This is a 90L medium-lighting setup. I use liquid plant fertilisers to keep everything lush, making it a perfect \"medium energy\" system. For hardware, I'm running an Oase internal filter and a Fluval heater.<\/p>
