I prefer to dose more than the bottle suggests, typically using 2ml per 50L of aquarium water. I find this works really well and has provided great results. I choose Premium Nutrition over Specialised Nutrition because the latter contains nitrates and phosphorus. Since I maintain a decent fish stock, my tank already has enough naturally occurring nitrates; therefore, I only need the minerals and micronutrients provided by the Premium formula.<\/p><p>If I am performing less frequent water changes, I reduce the amount of liquid fertiliser to prevent nutrient buildup.
